Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process and adjudicate healthcare insurance claims
- Resolve both payment approvals and denials using predefined business rules
- Handle various claim processes: authorization, COB, duplicate handling, pricing, corrected claims
- Apply knowledge of key insurance terms such as deductibles, coinsurance, co-pay, exclusions, etc.
- Adhere strictly to client SLAs for turnaround time and quality
- Organize work effectively and prioritize tasks as needed
- Stay up to date with policy guidelines, insurance concepts, and process updates
- Address complex claim issues by following established procedures
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years in claims adjudication and adjustment
- Experience with Facets platform (preferred)
- Understanding of professional (HCFA) and institutional (UB) claim types
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality output
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Solid reading comprehension and documentation skills
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree (any discipline)
- Experience in health insurance, medical claims, or related BPO roles
- Willingness to work in night shifts and support client overtime requirements
- Comfortable using Windows-based systems, MS Office, and browser tools
