Responsibilities
As an SAP PP/QM Manager, you will:
- Lead SAP and digital transformation projects in pharmaceutical manufacturing with a focus on PP/QM module implementation.
- Design, customize, configure, and test SAP PP/QM modules for new implementations and existing support projects.
- Identify gaps, manage issues, and handle emergency transports for high-priority changes.
- Document functional designs, test cases, results, and provide ad-hoc training and user support.
- Oversee end-to-end SAP project delivery, including custom developments, unit testing, functional testing, and integration testing.
- Configure processes for Technical Objects, Notifications, Order Processing, Preventative Maintenance, and Work Scheduling.
- Apply strong functional knowledge in Batch Management, Interfaces, IDOCs, Inspection Planning, Results Processing, Certificate Management, Test Equipment Management, and Reporting.
- Ensure integration of PP/QM processes with Finance, Costing, Inventory Management, Procurement, Sales, and Warehouse Management.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
Skills & Expertise
- Deep expertise in SAP PP/QM modules and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Functional and project implementation experience in life sciences or pharma industry.
- Knowledge of SAP integration with MM, WM, Finance, and other modules.
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA 2021, Batch Management, IDOCs, and ABAP debugging.
- Experience with computer system validation and quality tools.
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel for client engagements and manage hybrid work arrangements.
Qualifications
- Graduate in Science or Engineering (BE/MCA).
- MBA/MS in IT or related field preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in SAP PP/QM modules, including at least 1 end-to-end implementation and 1 rollout in pharma/life sciences.
