Summary

We are seeking an experienced Day Pusher with 10+ years of offshore drilling experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. The Day Pusher ensures safe, efficient, and productive drilling operations during daytime shifts, leading the drilling crew and coordinating with the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM). This role emphasizes HSE compliance, operational excellence, and effective crew management to achieve daily drilling objectives.

About the Role

As a Day Pusher, you will supervise and lead the drilling crew, ensuring safe and efficient operations. You will coordinate drilling activities, monitor equipment performance, enforce HSE protocols, and act as the key liaison between the OIM and crew members. Your leadership ensures adherence to the well program and achievement of daily drilling objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Drilling Operations Management

  • Oversee daily drilling operations, ensuring compliance with well programs and operational standards.
  • Monitor and optimize drilling performance to meet efficiency and productivity targets.

Equipment Management

  • Supervise maintenance and operation of all drilling equipment.
  • Ensure proper handling and operation of rig machinery and tools.

Operations & Maintenance

  • Support and guide the crew in troubleshooting equipment and addressing operational challenges.
  • Maintain operational logs and reports on daily activities and performance.

HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)

  • Enforce HSE policies and procedures across all drilling activities.
  • Promote a safety-focused culture among crew members.

Personnel

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate drilling crew members.
  • Ensure effective communication between crew, OIM, and supervisors.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: High School Diploma or Technical Degree in Drilling Technology.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in offshore drilling, with 2+ years as Day Pusher.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of drilling operations, equipment, and wellbore mechanics.
    • Proven leadership and crew management abilities.
    • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
