The Opportunity
As a Development Lead – Full Stack Engineering, you’ll work across EY’s global investment technology ecosystem — collaborating with teams in portfolio management, trading, and operations. You’ll design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and data-driven solutions that power decision-making for leading asset management and investment banking clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers and engineers to deliver end-to-end full stack and data engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across investment, operations, and technology teams.
- Build, deploy, and maintain applications across React/Angular, Node.js, Python, or Java/.NET.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Terraform.
- Leverage AWS services (Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, IAM) for scalable architectures.
- Integrate Large Language Model (LLM) APIs such as OpenAI or Gemini into production data systems.
- Monitor performance and optimize operations using Grafana dashboards and real-time observability tools.
- Work with Snowflake, PySpark, and event-driven architectures for advanced data pipelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–10 years of software engineering experience; minimum 3 years in a lead or managerial capacity.
- Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java, .NET).
- In-depth understanding of AWS architecture and cloud-native application development.
- Experience integrating data engineering workflows, CI/CD automation, and observability frameworks.
- Background in Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Wealth Management technology domains.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of front-office systems such as OMS, PMS, and risk engines.
- Experience with ETF platforms, fund lifecycle, or regulatory reporting systems.
- Familiarity with Feast, Sagemaker, Azure ML pipelines, and vector databases.
- Understanding of ESG data pipelines or performance attribution systems.
