About the Role
As a WFM Manager in EY’s People Consulting team, you’ll drive end-to-end workforce management, time & attendance, and payroll transformation projects. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing EY’s workforce management capabilities while delivering exceptional client value and supporting global practice growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and expand EY’s Workforce Management and Payroll Consulting services.
- Manage global client relationships and ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Oversee productivity, utilization, and headcount growth metrics for the WFM function.
- Serve in roles such as Engagement Manager, Application Architect, or Process Consultant based on project needs.
- Facilitate end-to-end WFM project lifecycle – from design and configuration to testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align HR and workforce strategies with business goals.
- Develop best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance EY’s WFM offerings.
- Support business development and proposal creation for global payroll and WFM pursuits.
- Coach and mentor team members, setting clear goals and supporting their professional growth.
- Manage project budgets, risks, and escalation processes effectively.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Strong background in Workforce Management systems, Time & Attendance, and Scheduling tools.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale global HR transformation projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complex business environments.
- High levels of integrity, energy, and adaptability.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as per EY’s travel policies.
Qualifications
Mandatory
- 12–16 years of total professional experience.
- Minimum 8–10 years in Workforce Management and Payroll Consulting.
- Full-time Master’s in HR / MBA / EMBA.
- Experience in global consulting environments across multiple industries.
- Team leadership and people management experience.
Preferred
- Certifications such as FPC, CPP, or PMP.
- Prior experience with Big 4 consulting firms.
- Expertise in shared services advisory, vendor transitions, or global payroll optimization.
- Ability to define and track key workforce metrics aligned with operational goals.
