Key Responsibilities

Valuation Engagements

• Lead end-to-end business valuation projects for transactions, financial reporting, tax, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop financial models using Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), market approach, and income approach.
• Conduct industry, market, and company research to support valuation assumptions.
• Analyze and interpret financial statements, KPIs, and market trends to ensure accurate valuations.

Client Management

• Act as primary client contact, ensuring clear communication of objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Present valuation findings and recommendations in a compelling and professional manner.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business.

Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor a team of analysts and associates, providing guidance on technical and professional growth.
• Review and ensure the accuracy and quality of deliverables, including reports, models, and presentations.
• Allocate resources effectively and oversee project timelines for seamless execution.

Strategic Contribution

• Contribute to the development of best practices, valuation methodologies, and internal tools.
• Support business development initiatives, including client proposals and pitches.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes, valuation standards, and market trends.

Skills Required

• Expertise in financial modeling, business valuation, and transaction advisory.
• Strong understanding of DCF, market approach, income approach, and valuation standards (IVS, US GAAP, IFRS).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Strong communication, client management, and presentation skills.
• Experience in mentoring and leading valuation teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• Certifications such as CFA, ABV, or CBV highly desirable.
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in business valuations with at least 1 year in managerial role.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling software, and valuation tools.
