About the Role

As a Data Management Analyst – Assistant Director at EY, you will manage large-scale datasets, lead data governance initiatives, and develop insights that guide strategic business decisions. You will work closely with business leaders, IT, and data professionals to improve EY’s data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders, SMEs, and IT to define data requirements and propose both tactical and strategic solutions.
• Develop data models and implement processes for data integration, management, and governance.
• Design and enforce data security, privacy, and lifecycle management protocols.
• Create and maintain key documentation: data dictionaries, lineage, and mapping.
• Identify and interpret data trends, patterns, and insights to support senior leadership decisions.
• Manage data sharing, metadata management, and cataloguing across departments.
• Build proof-of-concept prototypes and drive continuous improvement in data management practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, internal policies, and technology governance frameworks.

• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and metadata management solutions.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies and collaboration tools.
• Strong conceptual grasp of Business Intelligence (BI) and data warehousing principles.

Good-to-Have:

• Experience in data architecture and cloud modernization projects.
• Exposure to data migration, engineering, and big data platforms.
• Familiarity with APIs, data feeds, and batch processing workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10–12 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
• Proficiency in SQL, database design, and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Proven track record in data governance, metadata management, and stakeholder collaboration.
