About the Role

As Manager – FP&A / MIS, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end financial management and analysis for Deloitte’s South-East Asia CFO organization. This includes accruals, reconciliations, forecasting, financial planning, and MIS reporting. You’ll collaborate with leadership and global finance teams to translate financial data into actionable business strategies.

Your role combines financial precision, analytical depth, and leadership influence, helping drive profitability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead financial forecasting, planning, and variance analysis across business units.
• Conduct headcount, utilization, and cost reviews to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Perform detailed expense reviews and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.

2. Management Information Systems (MIS) & Reporting

• Design and deliver comprehensive MIS reports for leadership review.
• Consolidate and validate data for group reporting and global submissions.
• Create dashboards, trend analyses, and performance summaries using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in monthly and quarterly financial reports.

3. Accounting Operations & Controls

• Oversee P&L and balance sheet reconciliations ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Act as the primary liaison between Accounting Operations, Payroll, AR/AP, and Business Unit leadership.
• Analyze financial anomalies and recommend process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strong governance and internal controls across accounting processes.

4. Forecasting & Business Partnering

• Partner with cross-functional teams to align business goals and financial performance.
• Support the CFO organization in preparing budgets, forecasts, and analytical presentations.
• Translate financial insights into clear recommendations for business leaders.

Required Skills & Competencies

• 10+ years of experience in FP&A, MIS, or Financial Analysis, preferably in a professional services, consulting, or technology firm.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, data analysis) and PowerPoint (executive reporting).
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and global financial systems.
• Deep analytical acumen and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or Cost and Works Accountant (CWA) preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Proven track record in financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
