Key Responsibilities
As a Developer – Infor ERP LN, your main responsibilities include:
- Interpret functional specifications and convert them into technical specifications.
- Estimate development timelines and deliverables for Baan Tools/InFor LN modules.
- Develop and customize components in Baan4, Baan5, and Infor LN using Infor Tools.
- Test new developments and customizations to ensure user requirements are met.
- Create and deploy patches/dumps on Baan 4, Baan 5, and LN servers.
- Analyze existing components and optimize them for performance.
- Troubleshoot and debug ERP application errors effectively.
- Document all development and testing activities following Flex guidelines.
- Work on ERP components including Sessions, Tables, Domains, Forms, Scripts, DAL/DAL-2, User Exits, Reports, DOM, Labels, Extensions, LN Studio, and API integrations.
- Adhere to ERP development rules, standards, and best practices.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong experience in Baan ERP (Baan4/Baan5) and Infor LN application development.
- Proficiency in Baan Tools and Infor LN ERP modules (tables, forms, scripts, DAL/DAL-2, user exits, reports, DOM, labels, extensions, LN Studio, API).
- Ability to develop, customize, and implement ERP solutions for complex business processes.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Knowledge of ERP system optimization, patches, and component management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
- 3–7 years of experience in ERP development, preferably with Baan/InFor LN.
- Experience in manufacturing or supply chain ERP implementation is a plus.
- Strong documentation and process adherence skills.
