Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and administer Ignition platforms.
- Monitor platform performance and integrate with observability and alerting solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, ensuring uptime and reliability.
- Configure data source connections and manage asset libraries.
- Identify and escalate system capacity issues related to storage, licenses, and performance.
- Define best practices for Ignition deployment and administration.
- Integrate Ignition with other enterprise data platforms and business unit installations.
- Participate in data platform architecture and strategy discussions.
- Research and recommend innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
Required Skills & Attributes
- 3+ years in customer success, cloud operations, or application administration roles.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise deployments in technology-focused environments.
- Strong technical aptitude with Linux command line, cloud architecture, Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD, Docker.
- Familiarity with Attribute-based Access Control (ABAC), Virtual Director Services (VDS), PING Federate, or Azure Active Directory (AAD) is a plus.
- Ability to analyze technical concepts and translate them into business solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Education & Work Experience
- Minimum BA/BS degree in technology, computing, or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in enterprise application administration, cloud operations, or analytics platform management.
- Equivalent experience may substitute formal education for highly skilled candidates.
