Key Responsibilities
As a Deputy Manager – Corporate Finance, you will:
- Support Corporate Finance Advisory (CFA) engagements across the M&A lifecycle.
- Prepare transaction materials including teasers, pitch books, information memorandums, and management presentations.
- Conduct company and industry research, build profiles, and analyze potential buyers/targets.
- Perform valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, PPA) and discuss key drivers with clients.
- Deliver high-quality advisory outputs under tight deadlines.
- Guide junior team members, provide feedback, and ensure deliverable quality.
- Collaborate with international teams on cross-border transactions.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to Deloitte’s global CFA standards.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
- CA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent finance qualifications.
- 3+ years of Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Valuations experience.
- Strong knowledge of valuation methodologies and financial modeling.
- Proficiency with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Mergermarket, Thomson, and MS Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good-to-Have:
- MBA (Finance/Management) from a reputed institution.
- Prior experience with a Big 4, valuation firm, or investment bank.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
