Key Responsibilities
Data & Analytics Development
- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, IMS, and CICS.
- Implement data engineering solutions on AWS cloud platforms including DMS, Glue, Glue Catalog, Athena, S3, Lake Formation.
- Build ETL pipelines and optimize data workflows for business intelligence reporting.
- Collaborate with business analysts and insurance domain experts to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and governance across applications and cloud services.
Analytics & Reporting
- Develop interactive dashboards and integrated reports using BI tools and Rapid Business Intelligence Solutions.
- Apply Python and SQL for advanced analytics and data processing.
- Utilize Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and CDC tools for large-scale data transformation and insights generation.
Cloud & AWS Integration
- Implement AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, Event Bridge, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudFormation/Terraform.
- Ensure scalable and secure cloud architectures for enterprise applications.
- Conduct testing, deployment, and monitoring of cloud-based data solutions.
