Summary
McKinsey & Company is hiring a Senior Data Science Analyst – Capabilities & Insights to join QuantumBlack’s LiveOps team in Bengaluru or Gurugram. This role is ideal for experienced data scientists and analytics professionals with 2–5 years of experience in machine learning operations (MLOps), model monitoring, and predictive analytics. As a Senior Data Science Analyst, you will ensure sustainable impact of ML solutions, improve model efficiency, and resolve model-specific incidents while leveraging advanced tools like Python, Spark, Kedro, MLFlow, Airflow, AWS, Azure, Databricks, Docker, Kubernetes, Node.js, React, and TypeScript.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve deployed ML solutions, ensuring stability, continuity, and availability.
- Monitor machine learning models in production, detect issues, and define resolution strategies.
- Collect user feedback and collaborate with scrum masters to implement model improvements.
- Manage incidents and escalated queries, delivering solutions within SLA and OLA guidelines.
- Provide regional support and domain expertise during business hours to ensure operational continuity.
- Implement proactive strategies to prevent data issues, enhance model performance, and optimize workflow.
- Document processes and outcomes accurately and on time to agreed standards.
- Collaborate across teams to identify automation opportunities and service improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant analytics or data science experience.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Spark, MLFlow, and SQL/MSSQL databases.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana or Splunk.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and familiarity with Kedro, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Ability to work effectively with people at all organizational levels.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts.
Preferred:
- Experience with scheduling/orchestration tools like Airflow or Argo.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
