Key Responsibilities
As a SAP MM Manager at Deloitte, you will:
- Lead SAP MM implementation and configuration projects.
- Manage Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing, Price Determination, Subcontracting, and Stock Transfers.
- Integrate SAP MM with other modules such as SAP SD.
- Drive Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) process optimization.
- Prepare Functional Specifications, Configuration Documents, and Custom Reports.
- Guide logistics teams in client-facing roles to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Manage invoicing processes (external and intercompany).
- Work with external system integration (Interface, IDocs, ALE).
- Resolve incidents, analyze issues, and implement process improvements.
Skills & Competencies
- Expert knowledge of SAP MM configuration and integration.
- Strong understanding of business processes in supply chain and procurement.
- Hands-on capability in scenario configuration, testing, and delivery.
- Proficiency in incident resolution and problem-solving.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage client interactions.
- Ability to work with small and large teams across multiple engagements.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Science or Engineering.
- SAP MM certification is mandatory.
- 8+ years of SAP MM experience (consulting or management environment).
- Familiarity with SAP SD fundamentals and logistics processes.
- Experience in power utilities projects in India preferred.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements (short and long term).
