Responsibilities
As a Senior IT Architect – Banking & Insurance at BCG Platinion, you will:
- Lead and deliver enterprise architecture solutions for BFSI clients.
- Define target architecture across digital enablers, applications, integration, cloud, data, security, and microservices.
- Evaluate implementation options (Build vs. Buy vs. Reuse).
- Develop conceptual solution architecture and create roadmaps with milestones and ROI analysis.
- Drive legacy modernization from monolithic systems to scalable microservices-based platforms.
- Recommend DevSecOps practices and Agile delivery models.
- Manage product/vendor selection and governance during implementation.
- Present crisp, impactful technology recommendations to CXO-level stakeholders.
- Collaborate across diverse teams to deliver high-value digital transformation projects.
- Support BFSI-specific initiatives such as account onboarding, CASA opening journeys, underwriting processes, and claims management.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in enterprise IT architecture for Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance clients.
- Proficiency in TOGAF and enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Strong background in legacy modernization to microservices platforms.
- Knowledge of Lakehouse Architecture, Cloud-native platforms, DevOps, and Martech stacks.
- Experience with core banking systems, PAS, LOS, LMS, and mobility stacks.
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Previous roles as Technology Consultant, Enterprise Architect, or Cloud Architect.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Education & Qualifications
- BTech/MTech degree from a top engineering institute.
- Cloud and architecture certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP, TOGAF) are highly desirable.
