Bain & Company, one of the world’s leading management consulting firms, is hiring an Operations Manager for its Private Equity Practice (PPK group) in New Delhi. This full-time role is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, consulting operations, private equity, and data-driven decision-making. As an Operations Manager at Bain, you will oversee global practice operations, drive strategic initiatives, manage reporting and KPIs, and collaborate directly with senior leadership to support the growth of Bain’s market-leading Private Equity consulting business. Key Responsibilities

As Operations Manager – Private Equity Practice at Bain, you will:

Practice Planning & Strategy

• Partner with senior leadership to implement and evaluate global strategy.
• Drive practice planning, KPI-setting, and annual budget processes.
• Monitor revenue, pipeline, and performance trends, flagging risks and opportunities.
• Provide insights and recommendations for in-year trade-offs and strategic adjustments.

Operations & Reporting

• Design and manage reporting dashboards for revenue, utilization, pricing, and acquisition performance.
• Use automation, AI, and visualization tools to streamline reporting and analysis.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in global reporting standards and KPI definitions.
• Support leadership meetings with client-ready presentations and performance insights.

Affiliate & Talent Management

• Oversee affiliate administration, expert staffing, and talent-tracking processes.
• Support leadership on practice meetings, trainings, and strategic calls.
• Coach and mentor junior team members, ensuring high-quality output and career development.

Commercial Operations & Communication

• Collaborate with Commercial Operations teams on client reporting and account management.
• Lead the creation of practice-wide newsletters, updates, and internal communications.
• Champion operational excellence, knowledge sharing, and best practice adoption.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field); MBA preferred.
• Experience: 8–13 years in professional services, consulting operations, finance, or strategy.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerApps, Python, Tableau, Alteryx, and AI/automation tools.
