Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead and manage projects throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Participate in sales and initiation phases: analyzing customer requirements, commercial feasibility, and contracts.
- Conduct project status reviews with stakeholders.
- Apply structured methodologies for risk and opportunity evaluation.
- Coordinate onshore/offshore resource allocations with Project Managers.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls (RIC, ICFR) and Siemens standards.
Financial Management
- Review and verify cost/pricing calculations.
- Maintain accurate project books and SAP records.
- Prepare financial documentation (FC, MIKA, cash flow reports).
- Manage invoicing, bonds, guarantees, and project securities.
- Support in reducing non-conformance costs and applying lessons learned.
Risk, Contract & Claims Management
- Ensure compliance with LOA guidelines and risk management processes.
- Lead or support contract/claim/change order negotiations.
- Set up frameworks for contract and claim management.
- Identify and escalate risks related to tax, insurance, currency, and compliance.
- Perform credit risk analysis in collaboration with procurement teams.
Compliance & Standards
- Drive adherence to Business Conduct Guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with tax, export control, and hedging regulations.
- Implement compliance frameworks and regular audits within projects.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Educational Background: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in commercial project management, finance, or contract management.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong SAP knowledge
- Proficiency in financial planning, reporting, and risk tools
- Understanding of GAAP, FRG, and local compliance standards
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
