Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager – Cybersecurity, you will:

  • Detect, investigate, analyze, and report qualified security incidents as per SLA.
  • Conduct incident triage, containment, remediation, and root cause analysis.
  • Perform forensic investigations (disk, memory, cloud, enterprise-wide).
  • Collaborate with SOC teams to design and execute incident response plans.
  • Analyze data from firewalls, IDS, proxies, Active Directory, EDR, DLP, and other sources.
  • Use SIEM and SOAR platforms (QRadar, Sentinel, Cortex, Phantom, Demisto).
  • Deliver governance dashboards and incident reports to stakeholders.
  • Conduct IR tabletop exercises and simulations for technical and executive teams.
  • Review and improve processes for scalable cyber defense operations.
  • Ensure timely escalation of complex cases to L3 security teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in SIEM monitoring, incident response, and cyber investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, DNS.
  • Experience with security tools, forensic techniques, and log analysis.
  • Hands-on with EDR platforms (CrowdStrike, MS Defender, SentinelOne).
  • Experience with forensic tools (EnCase, FTK, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cyber kill chain & MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 rotational environment.

Preferred Certifications

  • ECIH v2, CHFI, GCIH, GCIA (or equivalent).

Education

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree (Full-Time) in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
