Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Team Lead – Fund Accounting & Reporting, you will:

Fund Accounting & Reporting

  • Perform fund accounting for hedge funds and private equity funds including journal entries, financial statement preparation, payments processing, and investor notices.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financials under relevant GAAP.
  • Manage capital activities such as subscriptions, redemptions, rollups, transfers, contributions, and distributions.
  • Conduct NAV/GAV calculations, market value reconciliations, and expense accounting (management fee, admin fee, incentive fee).

Stakeholder & Audit Coordination

  • Collaborate with fund administrators, statutory auditors, and investors to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Respond to day-to-day fund inquiries including security trades, cash positions, and reconciliations.
  • Manage investor relationships and deliverables across reporting cycles.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to enhance technical and reporting skills.
  • Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
  • Contribute thought leadership through publications or technical articles (preferred).

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (mandatory).
  • Strong technical expertise in fund accounting, hedge funds, and private equity reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver under pressure.
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and result-driven approach.
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken).
