Key Responsibilities
As a Markit EDM Developer, you will:
- Configure, customize, and troubleshoot Markit EDM components (Data Constructors, Data Porters, Core Matcher, Mastering UI, Data Illustrators, Table View/Stored Procedure/Function/Rule Builders).
- Manage multiple Markit EDM environments and perform migration of components.
- Design and implement data models, workflows, and validation rules aligned with data management best practices.
- Develop SQL queries and optimize database performance across Oracle and SQL Server systems.
- Automate processes and build ETL workflows using tools such as C# and Informatica (preferred).
- Integrate Markit EDM with enterprise systems using APIs and data exchange protocols.
- Translate financial market requirements into scalable technical deliverables.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must Have:
- In-depth knowledge of Markit EDM development and customization.
- Strong SQL programming and relational database expertise (Oracle, SQL Server).
- Understanding of financial instruments, market data, and industry-specific requirements.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with ETL development (C#, Informatica).
- Integration expertise with Markit EDM and external applications via APIs.
- Strong knowledge of data management principles and workflows.
- Prior experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
