Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual and automated test plans for Db2 software releases.
- Perform API testing and API automation to ensure functional correctness.
- Create test cases, data sets, and validation scripts aligned with software requirements.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality delivery.
- Collaborate with development teams and global QA engineers to identify and resolve software issues.
- Conduct performance, regression, and integration testing across multiple environments.
- Document test outcomes, report defects, and provide actionable insights to development teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing and product QA.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with API testing and automation.
- Strong knowledge of manual software testing concepts and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases such as Db2, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Golang, Python, Java, C/C++, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience in automation testing using Java, C, and JUnit frameworks.
- Knowledge of UI testing and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub.
- Exposure to cloud and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
