Key Responsibilities
1. Data Architecture & Snowflake Solutions
- Design and implement scalable Snowflake architectures for enterprise data platforms.
- Develop pipelines using Snowpark, SnowSQL, Streams, and ADF.
- Optimize semi-structured data handling (JSON, XML) and columnar storage using PARQUET and VARIANT.
- Ensure high-performance data integration across Azure and AWS services.
2. Cloud & Big Data Engineering
- Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS data services to support analytics, ML, and reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure best practices for data modeling, governance, and security.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Snowflake workloads and pipelines for efficiency.
3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into Snowflake solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers.
- Participate in cross-functional workshops to align data architecture with business objectives.
4. Innovation & Best Practices
- Keep abreast of emerging Snowflake, cloud, and big data technologies.
- Implement industry best practices for data pipelines, performance optimization, and security.
- Drive adoption of advanced analytics and cloud data solutions to maximize business value.
Skills & Expertise
- Hands-on experience in Snowflake, Snowpark, SnowSQL, Streams, ADF.
- Proficiency with semi-structured data (JSON, XML) and PARQUET formats.
- Experience in Azure and AWS cloud data services.
- Knowledge of Python and SparkSQL is a plus.
- Strong skills in data architecture, pipeline optimization, and governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 10 – 16 years of experience in data architecture, cloud solutions, and Snowflake implementations.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale cloud data solutions.
