Key Responsibilities
1. Data Architecture & Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Build scalable, secure, and optimized data pipelines to support analytics, ML, and real-time processing.
- Implement data mesh principles and modern data architectures using ADF, HDInsight, Azure SQL, PySpark, and MS Fabric.
- Integrate, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources efficiently.
2. Cloud & Big Data Solutions
- Hands-on experience with Databricks on AWS, Apache Spark, AWS S3 (Data Lake), AWS Glue, AWS Redshift/Athena.
- Implement streaming and batch solutions using Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, and Kafka.
- Utilize AWS Lambda, CI/CD pipelines, MLflow, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Airflow, and CloudWatch for advanced data operations.
3. Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data architects and developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions meet organizational goals.
4. Innovation & Best Practices
- Apply best practices for data modeling, governance, and security.
- Monitor emerging cloud and big data technologies to improve TCS’s data architecture.
- Drive adoption of cutting-edge data solutions to improve analytics efficiency and business insights.
Skills & Expertise
- Expert in ADF, HDInsight, Azure SQL, PySpark, Python, MS Fabric, and data mesh.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, AWS S3, Glue, Redshift/Athena.
- Knowledge of Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, Kafka, MLflow, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Airflow is a plus.
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and data governance skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 10 – 16 years of experience in data architecture, cloud solutions, and big data engineering.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise data solutions on cloud platforms.
