Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales Support & Technical Leadership

• Engage with customers early to understand technical and business requirements.
• Deliver tailored product demos and presentations showcasing Databricks’ capabilities, architecture, and differentiators.
• Collaborate with sales teams to address customer pain points and align solutions to business needs.
• Lead workshops, discussions, and meetings to translate business challenges into actionable technical solutions.
• Present and articulate Databricks value propositions to stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

2. Solution Design & Architecture

• Design scalable, secure, and robust Databricks architectures aligned with customer requirements and best practices.
• Create and present high-level and detailed technical solutions, including deployment architecture, data pipelines, and integration strategies.
• Provide guidance on cloud architecture, big data technologies, machine learning, and AI/ML use cases.
• Collaborate with customers to design POCs and proof-of-concept solutions demonstrating Databricks capabilities.

3. Collaboration with Sales & Technical Teams

• Partner with sales teams to define and drive the sales strategy, assisting in closing high-value deals.
• Work with Databricks engineering, product, and support teams to ensure smooth solution delivery.
• Assist in creating sales collateral, technical documentation, white papers, and case studies.

4. Customer Relationship & Post-Sales Support

• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Act as a trusted advisor for technical solutions and best practices in Databricks deployment.

Skills & Expertise

• Expertise in Databricks architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), big data, AI, and ML solutions.
• Proven experience in pre-sales technical leadership and enterprise solution design.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with POC development, deployment strategies, and integrations.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience collaborating with global clients and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10 – 16 years of experience in solution architecture, pre-sales, cloud platforms, and enterprise data solutions.
• Optional certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Databricks Certified Professional, Azure Solutions Architect.
