Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) across web applications, mobile apps (iOS & Android), cloud environments, and infrastructure.
- Perform source code reviews and cloud security configuration assessments.
- Lead security testing on complex environments including Windows, Linux, UNIX, Solaris, and databases.
- Utilize vulnerability management and penetration testing tools such as Kali Linux, Acunetix, Nessus, Metasploit, Fortify, and others.
- Develop and execute security test plans, scripts, and detailed vulnerability reports with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to exceed expectations and ensure cybersecurity posture enhancement.
- Conduct API testing, network security evaluations, and mobile app penetration testing.
- Support continuous improvement of security practices by scripting and automating testing processes (Python, Shell, PERL).
- Stay updated with evolving cybersecurity threats and contribute to mitigation strategies.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity with a focus on Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT).
- In-depth understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, IDS/IPS, routers, switches, and network architectures.
- Experience with web application security, infrastructure testing, API security, and mobile security pen-testing.
- Proficient in using security tools: Kali Linux, Acunetix, AppScan, Nexpose, Qualys Guard, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, Fortify, etc.
- Solid scripting skills in Python, Shell, PERL or similar languages.
- Knowledge of security standards and protocols including IPSEC, SSL, SSH, VPN, and networking technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret security logs and perform risk assessments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
- Security certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CRTP, EJPT are mandatory; GPEN and CREST are a plus.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications: OSCP, CEH, CRTP, EJPT.
- Additional certifications like GPEN, CREST are advantageous.
