Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant | Solution Architect at Deloitte India, your responsibilities will include:
1. Cloud Solution Design & Architecture
- Design and architect cloud-based solutions that leverage AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into efficient cloud architecture designs.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and AWS CDK to automate cloud infrastructure deployment.
2. Client Engagement & Delivery Excellence
- Lead client-facing discussions on cloud strategy and solution architecture, ensuring the alignment of technical and business objectives.
- Develop clear and actionable roadmaps for cloud transformation and ensure seamless deployment of cloud-based systems.
- Manage client expectations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.
3. Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines to automate development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Mentor junior consultants and team members on best practices in cloud architecture, solution design, and DevOps.
- Drive continuous improvement in technical processes and stay up to date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies.
4. Security & Compliance
- Enforce cloud security best practices by designing secure and compliant cloud architectures.
- Assist in managing IAM roles, security policies, and data encryption to ensure client data is protected and secure.
5. Project Documentation & Support
- Ensure thorough documentation of cloud architectures, solution designs, and deployment processes.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting during the deployment and post-deployment phases, ensuring client systems operate smoothly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with AWS, cloud solutions architecture, and cloud computing best practices.
- Hands-on expertise in Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps tools.
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and continuous integration/ continuous delivery pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and scripting.
- Experience with cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, and data privacy regulations.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, with a focus on cloud platforms like AWS.
- Strong experience in cloud migration, platform design, and IT transformation.
- Proven track record of successfully leading cloud adoption projects, from strategy to execution.
