Key Responsibilities
As a UX/UI Designer Consultant at Deloitte Digital, you will:
1. Client-Facing Design Leadership
- Engage with clients to understand requirements and translate business needs into user-centered design solutions.
- Present design ideas confidently and provide clarity on design choices to internal and external stakeholders.
- Educate and guide stakeholders on the design process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
2. Design & Prototyping
- Create intuitive wireframes, UI mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Sketch, Axure, and InVision.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design high-quality digital experiences that reflect the latest UX/UI trends.
- Lead UI testing, bug-filing, and iterative refinements based on feedback.
3. Collaboration & Delivery
- Collaborate within an agile framework and provide ongoing design iterations based on user testing and feedback.
- Ensure smooth handover of designs to developers with clear documentation and design specifications.
- Maintain a deep understanding of cross-device and cross-platform design principles.
4. Research & Insights
- Conduct user research to gain insights and create personas, user journeys, and information architecture.
- Analyze big data and user behavior to identify opportunities for improvement and design innovations.
- Test and validate designs through user validation and feedback loops.
Skills & Expertise
The ideal UX/UI Designer Consultant will possess the following skills:
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc.).
- Strong command of design tools like Sketch, Axure, Adobe Suite, InVision, Zeplin, and Principle.
- Deep understanding of design fundamentals, including form, balance, typography, color theory, and information architecture.
- Proficiency in user research, including user interviews, personas, and journey mapping.
- Experience in designing for enterprise applications (e.g., SAP UI, SFDC UI) is a plus.
- Knowledge of responsive design, cross-platform UI development, and usability standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly.
- A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends and design methodologies.
Qualifications
- Any Graduate with a background in Design, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design work, from user flows and wireframes to final designs and prototypes.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple design projects simultaneously.
