Key Responsibilities
As an Application Architect (Associate Director), you will:
- Design enterprise-grade application and data architectures for large-scale digital platforms
- Lead the design and deployment of B2C solutions for over 1 million+ users
- Architect and deliver scalable solutions using SAP Commerce, Salesforce CRM, or custom-built applications
- Oversee the technical direction for projects with 30+ team members
- Collaborate across business units to ensure architectural integrity and alignment
- Engage in client-facing roles to drive solution design and implementation
- Support presales, proposal development, and client onboarding processes
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders across Deloitte and client organizations
Required Skills & Expertise
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- Proven application architecture experience in enterprise environments
- Strong leadership in cloud-based deployments, digital transformation, and large-scale systems integration
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, DevOps, and agile methodologies
- Prior experience leading teams of 30+ technical professionals
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to navigate complex technology landscapes and provide strategic insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (B.Tech/BE preferred)
- Minimum 15 years in software engineering and IT architecture
- At least 8 years in leading delivery for SAP Commerce, Salesforce CRM, or custom enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience with two or more high-traffic B2C projects (10 lakh+ users)
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required
