💼 Responsibilities
As a Data Quality Analyst / Advisor at ExxonMobil Bengaluru, your role will focus on:
📊 Data Quality Management
- Manage enterprise data quality enhancement requests via Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Define data quality (DQ) rule logic in coordination with Data Stewards & Business SMEs
- Implement new DQ rules using Collibra DQ tool and maintain dashboards
🛠 Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Develop and maintain data quality scoreboards and dashboards
- Execute advanced SQL queries to analyze and extract key metrics
- Support data cleansing activities in collaboration with governance teams
🤝 Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams to understand critical data requirements
- Address and remediate data quality issues: duplicates, inconsistencies, incompleteness
- Assist the DQ Product Manager in building long-term DQ strategy
🔄 Continuous Improvement
- Implement tools and best practices for data validation and governance
- Contribute to data integration, transformation, and migration projects
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications
🎓 Education & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data quality, analytics, or data modeling
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, or Mathematics
🔧 Technical Proficiency
- Strong hands-on SQL skills
- Experience with data quality tools (Collibra, etc.)
- Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar BI tools
- Familiarity with SAP ECC / S/4HANA modules (FI, CO, SD, MM)
📚 Preferred Knowledge
- Applied experience in BI technologies: BOBI, HANA 2.0, MSBI, BODS, Azure
- Understanding of relational databases, data privacy regulations, and integration tools
- Certifications such as CDMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent are a plus
