👨💻 Role Overview – What You’ll Do
As a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Oracle Cloud Development team, you will:
- Lead and participate in full-stack development using Java (8+), Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
- Build scalable microservices and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Design and implement frontend components using Angular (2+) or React.js
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with custom applications
- Create and manage relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB
- Support DevOps pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Apply unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) to ensure high code quality and performance
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership across projects
🧠 Required Skills & Technologies
- 5–8 years of full-stack development experience
- Proficient in Java 8+, Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Security), and Hibernate/JPA
- Experience in REST API design and microservices architecture
- Strong skills in frontend development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular or React
- Solid understanding of Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases
- Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
➕ Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ for messaging
- Familiarity with DevOps best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience in performance tuning, monitoring tools, and leading project teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
