🔧 Key Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Consultant at Deloitte Kochi, you will:
- Conduct Web Application Security Testing and Infrastructure VAPT.
- Perform Mobile App Security Testing (Android/iOS) and API testing.
- Review configurations of Windows, Linux, UNIX, Solaris, and databases.
- Use tools such as Nessus, Nmap, AppScan, Qualys, Fortify, Metasploit.
- Develop scripts in Shell, Python, or PERL to automate security testing.
- Evaluate and review firewall and network device configurations.
- Perform endpoint security reviews, threat profiling, and risk assessments.
- Document findings and present reports to stakeholders and senior consultants.
- Stay updated with OWASP, CIS, NIST, and ISO/IEC 27001 frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cybersecurity solutions.
- Demonstrate commitment to learning new tools and adapting to project demands.
🧠 Required Skills
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, routers, and switches.
- Hands-on expertise in vulnerability management tools (Kali, Qualys, Acunetix, etc.).
- Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PERL is a plus.
- Familiarity with technologies such as VPN, SSH, SSL, IPSEC, WAN, SMTP, etc.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Team player with an ability to work independently under supervision.
- Deadline-driven and quality-focused mindset.
🎓 Educational & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, BCA, or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or penetration testing.
- Certification in CEH, OSCP, CISSP, or other relevant credentials is preferred.
