🎯 Key Responsibilities
As a Sr. Financial Analyst – LNG at QatarEnergy, you will:
- Act as the primary finance representative for LNG asset teams within QatarEnergy.
- Protect the financial interests of QatarEnergy and the State of Qatar in major LNG ventures.
- Lead the financial scope of LNG projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and asset team expectations.
- Evaluate pre-read governance documents for the Board, Audit Committee, and Operating Committee.
- Deliver data-driven financial insights using visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Apply advanced Excel and financial modeling techniques to drive analysis and forecasting.
- Utilize emerging technologies (AI, ML) to enhance reporting, planning, and automation.
- Participate in strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration within a flat organizational structure.
🛠️ Required Skills & Expertise
- 10+ years of relevant experience in finance within the energy sector or consulting.
- Strong grasp of the LNG value chain and the economics of global energy markets.
- Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Proven ability to engage with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Expertise in financial tools and technology:
- Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Advanced Excel functions (macros, pivot tables, financial formulas)
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning integration in finance is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and analytical thinking.
- Comfortable working in multi-cultural, multidisciplinary teams.

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related fields from a recognized university.
