β Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate in M&A Corporate Finance, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Leading end-to-end M&A transaction execution for clients in financial services.
- Conducting financial modeling, valuation, and preparing deal documentation.
- Supporting business development through idea generation and lead identification.
- Monitoring market trends, key metrics, and sector-specific benchmarking.
- Managing and mentoring junior analysts and associates.
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely execution of engagements.

- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation skills.
- Deep knowledge of financial services industry (NBFCs, insurance, banking, fintech).
- Hands-on experience with transaction structuring, term sheets, and negotiations.
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
- Strong command over Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
- Outstanding analytical and commercial acumen.
- Fluency in verbal and written English.

- CA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
- CFA certification is a strong advantage.
- 2β4 years of relevant experience in:
- Investment banking
- Private equity
- Corporate development
- Equity research with a focus on financial services
- Experience in a Big 4 firm or top-tier investment bank preferred.
