🛠️ Key Responsibilities
As Assistant Manager – Quality, your core duties will include:
🧪 Quality Assurance & Control
- Perform regular inspections and testing of incoming construction materials like cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, and more.
- Oversee RMC operations and concrete mix testing, ensuring QA/QC compliance throughout.
📝 Documentation & Process Implementation
- Prepare method statements, checklists, and SOPs based on BOQ and ITP requirements.
- Maintain documentation for Quality Management Systems (QMS).
🔍 Inspection & Auditing
- Conduct stage-wise inspections of ongoing construction works including RCC and finishing.
- Lead internal and cross-site quality audits, and ensure non-conformities and customer complaints are resolved promptly.
- Track and ensure the closure of NCRs and quality audit observations.
⚙️ Technical Support
- Coordinate with regional teams including Contracts, Procurement, and Engineering Design to provide quality-focused technical inputs.
- Assist with vendor technical evaluations and material approvals.
🎓 Training & Development
- Develop and implement training plans in coordination with the Quality Manager, based on current and upcoming execution activities.
🧰 Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures for civil construction
- Familiarity with material testing, lab operations, and mix design
- Experience preparing method statements, SOPs, and quality documentation
- Skilled in internal audits, non-conformance management, and corrective action planning
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination
- Hands-on experience with test equipment, measurement tools, and compliance documentation
🎓 Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
- 7–12 years of experience in quality control within the construction or real estate sector
- Prior experience with real estate, infrastructure, or EPC projects is preferred
