🛠️ Responsibilities
As a Cloud Integration Architect at Ford India, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead modernization projects by migrating legacy mainframes to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Design and implement end-to-end integration architectures using:
- API gateways
- Event-driven models (Pub/Sub, Kafka)
- Asynchronous, synchronous, and batch processing
- Develop blueprints, reference architectures, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs).
- Use enterprise integration tools (MuleSoft, TIBCO, IBM App Connect) and open-source frameworks (Apache Camel, Kafka, Spring Integration).
- Work closely with Java development teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Integrate APIs using GraphQL and gRPC, optimizing for microservices environments.
- Apply TOGAF principles to produce architectural artifacts, solution maps, and roadmaps.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops, present solutions, and guide architecture decisions.
- Mentor junior architects/engineers on integration and cloud best practices.
- Stay updated with cloud-native design trends like containers, serverless, and service mesh.
🧠 Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years in enterprise integration and cloud architecture
- Hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services:
- Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, API Gateway
- Experience with legacy modernization and mainframe migrations
- Proficiency in integration patterns (batch, streaming, RPC, EDI, MQ, REST)
- Strong background in Java and Spring Boot
- Proven consulting experience with stakeholder and project management
- Working knowledge of TOGAF 9.x, including ADM deliverables and solution governance

- Certifications:
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect
- TOGAF Certified
- Knowledge of:
- Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Cloud Build)
- Service Mesh (Istio, Anthos)

- Familiarity with:
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
- DevOps practices
- Exposure to GitHub Copilot and ability to deliver hands-on PoCs
- Understanding of AI integration and agentic systems
