Managing Purchasing Operations & Inventory

• Assist in ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing food, beverage, and other controllable items.
• Maintain approved vendor lists and collaborate with Executive Chef on all purchasing decisions.
• Enforce proper inventory rotation (FIFO), storage, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Verify invoices against shipments for quantity, quality, and purchase specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, cost logs, and beverage perpetual records.
• Ensure timely administration of invoices and adherence to bookkeeping procedures.

Applying Accounting Knowledge to Supply Chain

• Use relevant software and systems to track inventory, costs, and purchasing operations.
• Ensure compliance with financial, legal, and brand standards for all procurement activities.
• Assist in food and beverage costing, period-end inventory, and reporting.

Maintaining Financial & Operational Goals

• Document profits, losses, and inventory accurately.
• Monitor performance goals, budget compliance, and cost controls.
• Ensure taxes, financial records, and accounting procedures are current and accurate.

Additional Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, kitchen staff, and vendors.
• Provide guidance and support to other organizational units regarding purchasing policies.
• Attend and contribute to relevant meetings, offering insights on inventory and cost management.
• Solve operational and supply chain issues using analytical and problem-solving skills.
