Key Responsibilities
As a Stewarding Executive at Novotel Kochi, your duties will include:
Supervision of Stewarding Team
- Lead, train, and manage a team of stewards and support staff.
- Delegate tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Oversee cleaning and sanitization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishwashing areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and storage areas.
- Ensure hygiene standards are met in all food preparation and storage zones.
Inventory Management
- Track stock of cutlery, glassware, and cleaning supplies.
- Place orders and replenish items as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of usage and stock levels.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Implement safety procedures to prevent accidents.
- Manage waste disposal and support environmental initiatives.
Coordination & Equipment Management
- Collaborate with chefs, F&B teams, and other departments.
- Ensure utensils and equipment are available for kitchen operations.
- Oversee equipment care, handling, and preventive maintenance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in stewarding or hospitality operations preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
