Key Responsibilities
Project Controllership
- Track project costs against approved budgets and prevent overruns.
- Manage budget absorptions and discount accruals throughout project lifecycle.
- Maintain financial hygiene by closing codes within 1 month of roll-off.
Invoicing & WIP Management
- Understand and track billing terms as per client contracts.
- Raise invoices on time and ensure billing is linked to deliverables.
- Monitor unbilled WIP, resolve issues proactively, and manage VBP (Value-Based Pricing) exposure.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the single point of contact for case leadership regarding budgets and billing.
- Partner with staffing teams to build budget simulations and provide financial insights.
- Coordinate with finance leadership and respond to audit or MIS requests.
Process Improvements & Initiatives
- Support finance managers in rolling out process automation and reporting initiatives.
- Drive improvements in project reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Contribute to automation, analytics, and continuous improvement projects.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong financial analysis and project reporting expertise.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word; knowledge of SAP S4 HANA preferred.
- Exposure to VBA, Alteryx, or Tableau (added advantage).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Qualifications
- MBA (Finance) with 5–7 years of relevant experience OR
- CA with 2–4 years of relevant finance/project reporting experience.
- Prior experience in consulting, finance, or professional services.
- Comfortable with Windows OS and advanced Excel-based reporting.
