Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy complex distributed software systems using Java and AWS.
- Build secure, reliable, and high-performance production code while maintaining existing algorithms and services.
- Gather, analyze, and visualize large, diverse datasets to improve software functionality and system efficiency.
- Proactively identify hidden problems, patterns, and opportunities to enhance coding standards and architecture.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts ensuring design constraints are met in code development.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and promote adoption of emerging technologies.
- Maintain a team culture emphasizing diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, AWS cloud platforms, and Kafka.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, CQRS, process orchestration, and stability patterns.
- Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes/container technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience delivering solutions in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark and Iceberg.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and frameworks.
- Experience in multi-AZ, multi-region, or multi-cloud deployments.
