Responsibilities
Software Design & Development
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C++/C# software components and libraries that empower Windows developers to build applications.
- Expose capabilities via APIs, ensuring they are scalable, extensible, and maintainable.
- Work on Windows platform enhancements that will drive innovation for both first-party and third-party developers.
Collaboration & Innovation
- Engage with architects, senior engineers, and AI/ML scientists to contribute to the technical vision and strategy for Windows.
- Lead efforts in prototyping, open-ended explorations, and identifying new opportunities for developers using Windows technologies.
- Interact with open-source communities through GitHub to collaborate on innovations and share your expertise.
AI & Cloud Integration
- Integrate cutting-edge AI and ML technologies into the Windows platform, enhancing developer tools and Windows applications.
- Leverage cloud technologies to enable scalable and reliable solutions for developers worldwide.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience in C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Proficiency in C++ programming and experience working on open-source projects (e.g., GitHub).
- Solid understanding of software design principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with Windows development tools including Visual Studio and Windows SDK. Familiarity with XAML is a plus.
- Experience in Win32 application programming or systems programming.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools like CoPilot and their integration into development platforms.
- Experience in cloud services (especially Azure) for building production-grade services.
