Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Project Management

  • Manage end-to-end client engagements from planning, staffing, and execution to timely delivery.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members on valuation and analytics projects.
  • Develop and review valuation models including DCF, fixed income, stock options, and complex securities.
  • Conduct client interviews, gather data, and manage engagement economics.
  • Write technical reports, client presentations, and marketing materials.

Valuation & Analytical Expertise

  • Provide valuation advisory services for alternative investments: private equity, venture capital, credit, and hedge funds.
  • Build deep technical expertise in financial instruments, structured securities, and intangible asset valuation.
  • Field questions from clients, auditors, and investors, defending modeling approaches with clarity.
  • Stay updated on market and industry trends, and apply insights to client engagements.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional service and responsiveness.
  • Mentor team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, including investors and corporate management, providing strategic insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 9–12 years of experience in valuation, constructing and reviewing financial models including DCF and structured investment models.
  • Experience with credit analysis and structured securities (CLOs, CMBS, RMBS, ABS, Intex) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VBA, Python, and Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting standards, and valuation theory.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience including managing teams, client relationships, and mentoring staff.
