Primary Responsibilities
- Mentor and guide software engineers through code reviews and design sessions.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, testable, and maintainable solutions for APIs, data structures, and application sequences.
- Lead technical discussions, provide solution guidance, and ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Drive adoption of automation in testing, building, and deployment processes to improve team efficiency.
- Integrate proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting into software solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Management to ensure user stories are well-defined, sized, and aligned with business goals.
- Address technical debt, refactor code when necessary, and introduce AI-powered tools for workflow efficiency.
- Ensure solutions consider security, resiliency, and financial impact.
- Actively unblock team challenges, decompose features into manageable tasks, and deliver on schedule.
- Incorporate cloud technologies and services to optimize application performance and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming with hands-on experience in React or similar front-end frameworks.
- 8+ years of experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) with automated testing frameworks.
- 8+ years of experience with CI/CD processes using Jenkins.
- 5+ years of experience with RESTful backend microservices.
- 4+ years of experience with cloud technologies like OpenShift, AWS, Azure.
- 1+ years of experience with Kafka streaming.
- Experience building agentic workflows or automated agent solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of full-stack development principles, including front-end, back-end, and cloud integration.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, microservices architecture, and containerization.
- Proficient in designing solutions with scalability, maintainability, and security in mind.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
