Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cutting-edge digital products and web platforms within Ford Credit’s communication delivery systems.
- Provide application support and manage seamless migration projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers and Technical Architects to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions.
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new feature development using Agile eXtreme Programming (XP) practices.
- Write, automate, and maintain unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure robust software releases.
- Implement DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and security testing (SAST/DAST) to enhance deployment efficiency and security.
- Champion Agile mindset and software craftsmanship by participating in pair programming, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous improvement processes.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace for proactive performance management.
- Provide on-call support during off-hours and weekends on a rotational basis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (B.E./B.Tech/M.C.A.).
- Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong expertise with Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud) – 6+ years.
- Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and SOAP services – 5+ years.
- Proficient in Cloud-Native Development on platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure, or GCP – 2+ years.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular or React, including HTML and template building – 2+ years.
- Deep understanding and practice of Agile methodologies and software craftsmanship – 3+ years.
- Proven knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit and Selenium, plus code quality tools (SonarQube, Checkmarx).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle).
- Bonus: Experience with Mulesoft integration, Salesforce (AmpScript/SSJF).
