About the Role
As a Senior Project Consultant – Project Finance at EY New Delhi, you will work within EY’s Strategy and Transactions (SaT) practice under the Government & Public Sector (GPS) division. This role focuses on lead advisory, transaction structuring, valuations, and risk mitigation strategies for major infrastructure and public finance projects.
You will collaborate with government entities, public sector organizations, and private clients, delivering end-to-end project finance and advisory services across industries such as transport, power, utilities, healthcare, education, urban development, and economic infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct deal issue identification and assess valuation impacts
- Analyze transaction risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Support project finance structuring, investment banking advisory, and transaction analysis
- Provide financial modelling, portfolio analysis, and valuation support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary EY teams to deliver advisory projects
- Prepare client deliverables, reports, and presentations for stakeholders
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Postgraduate degree from a Tier 1 Institute; CFA preferred
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in investment banking or project finance consulting
- Technical Skills:
- Strong financial modelling and analytical expertise
- Deep understanding of transaction advisory and project structuring
- Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation techniques
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
