Key Responsibilities
As Senior Lead – IT – Cloud Infrastructure & Compliance, you will:
- Define and execute the cloud strategy for Bajaj Finance Ltd
- Lead a team of cloud engineers to deliver scalable cloud platforms and infrastructure
- Architect and design solutions on Azure and hybrid cloud environments
- Drive end-to-end cloud governance, including security, cost, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure robust cloud privacy and monitoring
- Manage infrastructure migration projects, performance tuning, and automation
- Serve as the Microsoft Azure SME, guiding internal and external teams
- Implement best practices in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code
- Ensure legal, audit, and ITIL compliance across all cloud-based solutions
- Drive innovation through integration of AI/ML, Big Data, and serverless capabilities
Must-Have Skills
- 6–8 years of experience managing Azure and AWS IaaS/PaaS platforms
- Expert in:
- Azure services: API Gateway, Application Gateway, Azure Functions, ADF, Databricks
- DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven, NPM, Shell Scripts
- Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Infrastructure: Linux, Apache Tomcat, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Cloud Data Services: Data Lake, Synapse, Azure Data Factory
- Source Control: GIT
- Programming: Basic Java, Groovy
- Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL
- Experience in infrastructure automation frameworks (Chef, Puppet)
- Cloud security & operations, cloud monitoring, and ITIL practices
- Vendor management and team leadership across multiple cloud domains
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and audit-facing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10–12 years of total IT experience
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure, AWS, DevOps, or related areas are a plus
- Exposure to open-source cloud technologies is desirable
