Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage general ledger accounts accurately and efficiently.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely reporting.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjustments.
- Assist in compiling financial statements and management reports for leadership review.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior finance staff.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and corporate policies.
- Support audit preparation, documentation, and liaise with auditors as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Skills Required
- Expertise in general ledger management, account reconciliation, and journal entries
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and IFRS
- Proficient in Excel, ERP systems, and accounting software
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle month-end/year-end processes and audits efficiently
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Proven experience in finance advisory, accounting, and financial reporting
- Experience in audit preparation and internal controls is preferred
