Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing, diverse team of software engineers.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of scalable cloud-native services within the Azure ecosystem.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering peers, customers, and partners to define product roadmaps and drive rapid, iterative development cycles.
- Foster a culture of innovation by mentoring teams on modern cloud architecture, open-source technologies, DevOps, and service reliability.
- Ensure service security, privacy, compliance, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Support live site operations in a DevOps environment, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Minimum 8 years of industry experience in software development, with proven success in delivering complex engineering projects.
- At least 2 years of experience managing and growing engineering teams.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, Python, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with Linux environments, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Passion for customer-centric development and shipping high-quality software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with geo-distributed teams and cross-functional partners.
- Hands-on background in site reliability engineering and scalable live service support.
- Contribution to open-source projects or experience with large-scale cloud service development.
- Ability to meet Microsoft’s security and compliance screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud background checks.
