Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant – Tax (ITTS) at EY New Delhi, your role will involve:

  • Providing tax and regulatory advisory support for clients in global mobility, M&A, and transaction-related matters.
  • Conducting technical research on corporate tax laws, SEBI, FEMA, and stamp duty regulations.
  • Preparing tax submissions, returns, and compliance documents.
  • Assisting seniors in replying to client queries on corporate tax issues, including capital gains, tax payments, and appellate matters.
  • Appearing before income-tax authorities on behalf of clients for routine matters.
  • Drafting submissions for assessments and appellate proceedings.
  • Supporting client engagement processes including QRM, documentation, billing, and filing.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Identifying opportunities for follow-on client engagements and cross-selling EY services.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in M&A taxation and transaction tax.
