Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Java Developer / JavaScript Developer at Deloitte Delhi CEC, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable full-stack Java applications and front-end JavaScript solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end software solutions for industry-specific operations and domain projects.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using Java, JavaScript, and related frameworks like Spring and Angular/React.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate backend services to support seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot application issues, and implement performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance.
- Work in Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with emerging Java and JavaScript technologies to bring innovation to project deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in full-stack Java development with strong proficiency in JavaScript frameworks.
- Expertise in Java technologies including Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Solid understanding of web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JSON.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively in client-facing roles and team settings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
