Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, you will:
1. Project Management & Governance
- Support the Project Manager in executing end-to-end project management activities.
- Develop critical project deliverables such as Project Charters, Schedules, and Risk/Issue Trackers.
- Create and manage Project Governance, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource optimization.
- Define and standardize project templates and documentation processes to improve delivery consistency.
2. Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Prepare and present detailed reports, dashboards, and status updates to stakeholders.
- Map key stakeholders and ensure effective communication across teams.
- Manage invoicing and billing to ensure smooth project financials.
3. Process Improvement & Resource Management
- Standardize processes and drive efficiency across multiple projects.
- Optimize resource utilization and ensure high-impact results.
- Organize knowledge management sessions and training for teams.
4. Communication & Coordination
- Maintain strong, clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Handle onboarding/offboarding processes and assist with document management.
Skills Required
- 4-6 years of professional experience in the IT industry, with 2-3 years specifically in a PMO (Project Management Office) role.
- Strong understanding of SDLC phases, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools like Jira, MPP, Clarity, and ADO.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and negotiation skills.
- Ability to think critically, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in project management within the finance transformation space.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial transformation projects.
